Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation awards digital technology books to children of workers in difficult circumstances

At the program, 34 sets of English reading markers and a set of digital technology books were awarded to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company.

This is an activity to implement Plan No. 106 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on caring for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - said that caring for children of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, is always a task of concern to the trade union organization.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem, the gifts not only support learning conditions but also help children access modern foreign language learning methods, improve digital skills, and create a foundation for the learning process in the digital transformation period. At the same time, she wishes children to use the gifts given effectively, continue to strive to study and train to become useful citizens for society.

Representing the enterprise, Mr. Tran Hai Long - Director of Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company - expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Lao Cai Provincial Confederation of Labor for their concern for the children of union members and employees of the company.

Mr. Tran Hai Long assessed that this is a practical activity, contributing to encouraging workers to feel secure in their work, and affirmed that the enterprise will continue to coordinate with the trade union organization to better care for the material and spiritual life as well as the education of workers' children in the coming time.
