Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation has awarded 50 million VND to support the family of Ms. Bui Thi Hong Hanh (residing in Tay Duyen Giang residential group, Duy Tan ward, Ninh Binh province) to build a "Trade Union Home".
Ms. Hanh is a union member of the grassroots trade union of Pretty Vina Co., Ltd. (under Dong Van III Industrial Park). Ms. Hanh is one of the cases with particularly difficult circumstances, she herself is the main breadwinner in the family, she is a single mother, raising 4 young children alone to study and taking care of her elderly parents.
Her family belongs to a near-poor household in the locality, for many years, her whole family has lived in a dilapidated level-4 house that is not safe.
With the support from the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation and the help from relatives, union members, and employees in the Company, Ms. Hanh's family borrowed more to build a new, more solid and spacious house.
Mr. Vu Hong Minh - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation said that the "Trade Union Warm House" construction support program launched by the Trade Union organization has profound humanistic meaning, showing the concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The program not only supports housing construction costs, helping workers stabilize their lives, but is also a source of spiritual encouragement for them to feel secure in working and producing, thereby affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for life, contributing to ensuring social security and spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.
At the same time, contributing to joining hands with local authorities to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
