At the conference, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation awarded the decision to establish the Trade Union of Xiong Tai Vietnam Co., Ltd., admitting 279 company employees who are trade union members.
Xiong Tai Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, located in the non-tariff zone and Nam Dinh Vu industrial park, specializing in producing heating cylinders and cups. The company officially operates stably from August 2025, currently creating jobs for 279 workers, including 165 female workers.
According to representatives of the grassroots Trade Union, in August 2025, after the company was established and put into operation, the collective of employees in the company always wanted to establish a Trade Union organization to be a representative, protecting their legitimate and lawful rights and interests. The Board of Directors wishes to establish a trade union organization to have reliable partners to dialogue, listen to the voices of employees, build harmonious and stable labor relations, and realize the company's strategic vision.
With dedicated guidance and full support from the Industrial Park Trade Union Committee, on January 11, 2026, we established the Trade Union Establishment Mobilization Committee. The Mobilization Committee has developed a detailed plan on propaganda and mobilization of workers to join the Trade Union and preparing conditions for establishing grassroots trade unions at the company. The Mobilization Committee has organized propaganda sessions to help workers understand clearly about the rights and tasks of union members, about the role of trade union organizations in the company. As a result, 100% of workers have applied to join the trade union.
At the conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions to quickly stabilize operations and play a good role in representing and protecting the rights and interests of union members. Along with that, closely monitor the number of newly recruited workers to propagate and mobilize the development of union members, striving for 100% of workers to be union members... The business leadership continues to pay attention to and create conditions for the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions to do their roles and tasks well, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at the enterprise.
