On April 27, the Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation solemnly held a launching ceremony for "Workers' Month" and responded to " Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene" in 2025.
The launching ceremony was attended by Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of the leaders of Thanh Hoa City, the City Federation of Labor and a large number of workers and laborers in the area.
According to the Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation, to continue to accompany businesses and the lives of workers, the unit has proposed that each grassroots union choose to organize meaningful care activities with specific products, bringing practical results to union members and workers.
Along with that, focus on coordinating propaganda, raising awareness and requirements for strict compliance with the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene, regulations on ensuring occupational safety; grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees to promptly orient public opinion, resolve pressing issues, contribute to stabilizing production and business, developing harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Focus on organizing activities to visit and help union members and employees in difficult circumstances, those who have suffered from work-related accidents or occupational diseases; organize cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities among workers, civil servants and employees; promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals of cadres, union members and employees with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.
For workers, it is necessary to strictly comply with all internal regulations, processes, and measures for occupational safety and hygiene; proactively self-study, self-training, self-improvement of knowledge, safe working skills, industrial working style, and quick adaptation to modern and integrated working conditions.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Thanh Hoa City Labor Union and enterprises at all levels in caring for and caring for the lives of workers and laborers in recent times.
Along with that, we hope that the Thanh Hoa City Trade Union at all levels will continue to effectively advise the Party Committee, coordinate with the authorities and experts of agencies, units and enterprises to mobilize all resources to organize practical activities to care for the material and spiritual benefits of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances and those who have had work-related accidents.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, Thanh Hoa City and Thanh Hoa City Federation of Labor presented funding to support the construction of a "Union Shelter" for union members with difficult housing circumstances worth 35 million VND and presented 60 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 78 million VND.
