On September 26, Area Management Working Group No. 5 - Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC) said that it had organized a meeting of grassroots trade unions (CDCS), including the participation of many grassroots trade unions with 1,000 or more union members in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park (Rach Dua Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Through the conference, it is an opportunity for the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Trade Unions to frankly discuss activities, raise difficulties, and propose solutions to improve the quality of trade union activities in the context of post-merger.
Thereby, some units have raised practical issues that are still facing such as: difficulty organizing concentrated activities, arts, sports; some welfare programs must be re-signed if implemented... Some contents of caring for union members and workers are not yet timely; lack of operating funding...
Recognizing the opinions from the grassroots, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that in the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union will always accompany and innovate in its methods of operation to promptly care for and protect the rights of union members and workers.
Hopefully, the grassroots trade unions will continue to uphold the role of the trade union organization as a companion, caregiver, and defender of the legitimate rights of union members and workers; Continue to grasp the situation and strengthen the organization, especially at the end of the year.
