On the afternoon of June 6, at the Party Committee Hall of Hai Van Ward, Da Nang City, nearly 200 grassroots trade union officials and the OSH network participated in a training session on skills to handle emergency medical situations, especially stroke.
The activity is part of a series of events to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress (term 2026 – 2031) and respond to activities to care for workers' lives during the 2026 Workers' Month of the Da Nang City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ).
At the training session, medical experts disseminated important knowledge about early signs of stroke, initial first aid steps and how to handle it promptly when a person with stroke is detected at work.
In addition, students are also guided on preventive measures and building a healthy lifestyle to minimize the risk of disease.


Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of Da Nang City Labor Federation sent thanks to Dr. Lam Duc Tam, Dr. Vo Thi An, Lam Chau Pharmacy and Lam Chau Vaccination Center for coordinating the program.
Ms. Huong shared: "SERIOUSly listening, gaining a lot of knowledge to protect the health of myself, as well as relatives and the social community, contributes to increasing labor productivity. After today's session, I hope you will be the ones to spread these useful knowledge to union members and workers at the grassroots level".

Through the conference, the Da Nang City Labor Federation hopes that the team of trade union officials will be "extended arms", actively propagating and spreading knowledge to protect health for themselves, their families and the community, thereby contributing to improving labor productivity and quality of life for union members.
The series of activities to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress in Da Nang takes place from June 5th to the end of June 7th at the Ori Garden social housing area (Hai Van ward).
In addition to medical training, the program also includes practical activities such as: Mobile worker fair, electronics industry skills competition and music night, lucky draws for workers.
