Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD), Mr. Tran Trung Kien - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Vinh City Party Committee; and leaders and former leaders of Vinh City Labor Federation through the periods.
Implementing the 2025 theme "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party" of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, in the first 6 months of the year, Vinh City Federation of Labor mobilized the establishment of 1 grassroots union, developing 565 new union members, introducing and admitting 90 outstanding union members and Party organizations.
Activities to care for union members and workers continue to be organized by Vinh City Labor Union at all levels, practically and meaningfully. In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vinh City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay ‐ Xuan An Dang - Nghia Tinh dong Lam" at 4 units, giving 4,138 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 1.1 billion VND.
Implementing the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era, in the Workers' Month 2025, Vinh City Trade Union continues with meaningful activities such as: Organizing the launching ceremony of Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month (OSH) in 2025 and Signing the union member welfare program with Hanoi Soap Joint Stock Company; giving support to 259 gifts with a total amount of 129,500,000 VND to union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025...
At the program, grassroots union officials and former union officials of Vinh City shared their emotions about the working process and working under the common roof of the union organization. Expressing confidence, the trade union organization will continue to develop to become a solid support for union members and workers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thai Le Cuong - Chairman of Vinh City Labor Federation - thanked the thoughts and feelings of the team of cadres, union members and workers who have devoted to Vinh City Labor Union over the past time. At the same time, he affirmed that the Vinh City Labor Federation has promoted its role as a representative, caregiver, and defender of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Vinh City Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial Labor Federation to 4 collectives and 21 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year, the movement "Good at public work - Good at home work" to 7 individuals, the green, clean and beautiful movement to 2 collectives.
In addition, the Vinh City Labor Federation has announced the Decision to end the operation of 163 grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of State budget salaries; transfer 180 grassroots trade union organizations under the enterprise sector and units with revenue to the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation for management.
