From July 1, 2025, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor will manage 2,216 grassroots trade unions and public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the State budget with 579,721 union members. The Provincial Federation of Labor directly manages 1,054 grassroots unions in the province's industrial parks with 434,881 union members.
The organizational system of the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union consists of 2 departments (Union Working Committee, Industrial Park Trade Union Committee) and 25 commune and ward trade unions. The number of full-time union officials after the merger is 140.
The Provincial Federation of Labor assigned 25 commune and ward unions to manage 1,162 grassroots unions outside industrial parks with 144,840 union members. At 25 commune and ward trade unions, the Provincial Federation of Labor arranged 43 positions (mainly experienced trade union officials) to hold key positions.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in the coming time, trade unions at all levels of Bac Ninh province will continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the trade union system, ensuring effective and efficient operations according to the direction of the Central Government; review, amend and promptly supplement regulations, regulations, directives and instructions of the Trade Union organization, in order to unify and synchronize the implementation of tasks after the arrangement of the apparatus and cadres.
Along with that, resources will be focused on, creating a breakthrough in developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, especially in non-state enterprises; focusing on directing the work of propaganda to develop union members and establish grassroots unions. Trade unions at all levels focus on innovating the method of admitting union members in conjunction with improving the quality of union members; focusing resources, creating a breakthrough in developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, especially in non-state enterprises and informal workers.
In the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor directs trade unions at all levels to continue to participate in building and implementing democratic regulations at the grassroots level, organizing dialogues at the workplace, negotiating, signing and implementing collective labor agreements in 2025; propagating and mobilizing union members and workers to support the 2025 Trade Union Shelter Fund; supporting the construction of Trade Union Shelter housing for union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Along with that, participate in inspecting and supervising units and enterprises on the implementation of legal regulations on labor and trade unions.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor will also continue to grasp the production situation of enterprises, employment, income, life and thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; organize propaganda activities and legal advice for workers in workers' dormitories and at enterprises.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on training and improving knowledge and professional expertise for the team of union officials. In particular, priority is given to improving the effectiveness of legal propaganda and education for workers; skills in periodic and ad hoc dialogue at the workplace and negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements in the direction of increasing provisions beneficial to workers.
