Strive and practice to be worthy of the title of party member
A month ago, in Hanoi, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a ceremony to honor 95 outstanding workers who are party members - union members with outstanding achievements in labor. These are all exemplary party members, leading the way as Uncle Ho taught.
Among them, there is a character who left many impressions on many attendees of the Forum "Strive to be worthy of being a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam" - held before the commendation program took place.
"Becoming a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a source of pride not only for me but also for my family and the village", Ms. Nguyen Cam Nhung - an employee of the Department of Fine Arts and Communications Joint Stock Company, Education Publishing House - shared.

Born and raised in Bao Lac district - a poor border district of Cao Bang province, in grade 9, Ms. Nhung studied at the Thai Nguyen Northern Regional Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - a place to train children of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas thanks to the policies of the Party and the State.
Ms. Nhung said that every summer vacation she returns, she finds her hometown renewed every day, students get more access to schools, schools are built more, roads are more convenient to travel, and the lives of the villagers are gradually improved.
"I understand that thanks to the policies of the Party and the State, the lives of my ethnic minorities have become increasingly better. Therefore, I am determined to study and practice to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam," Ms. Nhung shared.
With her tireless efforts, Ms. Nhung was admitted to the Party on June 5, 2011 - at that time a 3rd year student. Becoming a party member, she realized her great responsibility, needing to constantly cultivate and practice to be worthy of this noble title, becoming a shining example for youth union members.
During her time studying and then working at Vietnam Education Publishing House - Education and Fine Arts Joint Stock Company, Ms. Nhung won many awards such as: "January Star" award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association; won awards at the "Learning about the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline" Contest in 2018 organized by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training; the title of "super warrior" issued by the 2024 campaign...; Party members who have completed their tasks well, excellently completed their tasks for many consecutive years...
At the same time, she also has many initiatives at work, bringing benefits to the work unit.
"As an activist in the field of education, and a union member and a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, I always strive to study according to the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, especially his ideology of lifelong learning," Ms. Nhung shared.
Always consider lifelong learning as the key to keeping up with the trend
Clearly recognizing the role of Party members, especially those working in the education sector, Ms. Nguyen Cam Nhung always considers lifelong learning as the key, not only to develop herself but also to keep up with trends.
Learning more knowledge to improve professional capacity, learning more skills to improve yourself.

"During my work, I realized that I had to improve my knowledge and learn from my previous colleagues in professional fields. In addition, I also actively participate in courses to improve my professional skills to better serve my work.
Currently, in the era of industrialization and modernization, the country is transforming, requiring party members and union members to learn more to keep up with the trend, to meet the requirements of work. Always cultivate professional knowledge, at the same time, it is necessary to cultivate and train political courage, always be steadfast in the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State to build our Party to be increasingly clean and strong", Ms. Nhung shared.
Ms. Nhung's story is a source of inspiration for other young party members, affirming the importance of lifelong learning.
