On the morning of May 16, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province held a conference to collect opinions on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Duong Thuy Tien chaired the conference, with the participation of leaders of the Provincial People's Council, the Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, representatives of member organizations and the advisory council.
The draft Resolution consists of 2 articles, of which Article 1 has 8 amendments and supplements related to the Vietnam Fatherland Front organization, socio-political organizations, local government organizations and administrative units; Article 2 stipulates the effectiveness of implementation and transitional provisions.
At the conference, delegates expressed their high agreement with the draft, and at the same time focused on giving comments on contents such as the position, functions, principles of organization and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new model after the reorganization; ensuring consistency, avoiding overlap between regulations; proposing to revise sentences to make them clear and easy to implement.
In her concluding remarks, Ms. Duong Thuy Tien highly appreciated the comments and affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will synthesize and report according to regulations.
