Ms. Vu Hoc Nga (worker at Doowon Tech Vina Co., Ltd.) still remembers happy photos with colleagues, company leaders, and the Tien Phong Ward Union (Bac Ninh) at the Union Meal held in early September 2025.

Union meals were organized for 122 union members and employees at the company with support from the union and enterprises. Each meal is worth 75,000 VND, an increase of 45,000 VND compared to a daily meal. Ms. Vu Hoc Nga said that daily meals at the company cost 30,000 VND/meal, the dishes are delicious and suitable for workers.

At the Union Meal, there were more dishes, more delicious, and a more joyful atmosphere than normal meals with the presence of deputy directors of enterprises, leaders of ward unions and grassroots unions. The workers had very happy moments" - the female worker recalled.

Ms. Nga hopes that Union Meals will be organized more, maybe every quarter so that workers can enjoy more delicious dishes than usual, creating a comfortable spirit for workers. The company's union also organized birthday parties and gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

The Union Meal is also an opportunity for business leaders and union organizations to listen to and share the thoughts and aspirations of workers.

Although it is a small activity, this shows the deep concern and warm affection that the Trade Union wants to give to each member, helping them feel more appreciated and attached to the collective - Ms. Nga shared.

Mr. Ngo Quyet Thang - Chairman of Tien Phong Ward Trade Union said that the Trade Union Meal is a practical activity, affirming the responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking better care of workers. The higher purpose is to help union members enjoy lunch in a friendly atmosphere, chat together, and closely connect with the Trade Union organization and business leaders, reducing stress after work.

According to Ms. Vu Thi Dung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Peony Company Limited, at the end of August 2025, the trade union will coordinate with the enterprise to organize a 2025 Trade Union Meal for union members and workers. The meal was organized with the participation of 2,180 union members and workers. The total value of each meal is 75,000 VND (of which the company spends 50,000 VND, the union spends 25,000 VND).

Ms. Vu Thi Dung acknowledged that attending the Union Meal organized by the union brings many emotions and cohesion between workers. This emotion is also very different from the times of meeting and celebrating at conferences, art and sports festivals. That emotion will certainly be a memory, a unique feature of the company's union, creating motivation for all union members to complete their assigned tasks well, with the spirit and responsibility of each union member" - Ms. Dung said.

This is also an opportunity for workers, trade unions and unit and enterprise leaders to share and listen to their thoughts and aspirations to create an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding, thereby creating trust and attachment of union members and workers to the company's trade union.
