According to Point c, Clause 3.1, Section 3 of Resolution 27-NQ/TW on determining specific factors for designing the new salary table, when reforming salary, the current basic salary and salary coefficient will be abolished, and the basic salary will be built with a specific amount in the new salary table.
However, recently, according to Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, from July 1, 2024, the basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month.
At the same time, according to Clause 5.2, Section 5, Conclusion 83-KL/TW in 2024, the Politburo requested the Central Economic Committee to preside over the preliminary review of the implementation of Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018.
In which, coordinate with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and relevant ministries, departments and branches to study and evaluate the suitability, feasibility and propose the implementation of 5 new salary tables of the public sector appropriately to submit to the Central Committee for consideration after 2026 when the Politburo issues and implements the system of Job Position Lists in the political system.
Accordingly, the implementation of salary reform according to Resolution 27 will still be carried out when it is studied and evaluated for suitability and feasibility after 2026.
Pursuant to Point c, Clause 3.1, Section 3 of Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018 on determining specific factors for designing the new salary table, when reforming salary, the current basic salary and salary coefficient will be abolished, and the basic salary will be built with a specific amount in the new salary table.
One of the specific factors to design the new salary table according to Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018 is to abolish the current basic salary and salary coefficient, and build the basic salary with a specific amount in the new salary table.
Thus, when reforming salaries, the basic salary applied to civil servants, public employees and armed forces will be abolished and replaced by a basic salary. The basic salary will be built based on the following regulations:
Basic salary accounts for about 70% of total salary fund.
The base salary is equal to the specific amount in the new salary table.
