On November 13, 2024, the National Assembly passed Resolution 159/2024/QH15 on the state budget estimate for 2025.
Regarding the implementation of salary policy and some social policies, the National Assembly agreed not to increase public sector salaries, pensions, social insurance benefits, monthly allowances, and preferential allowances for people with meritorious services in 2025.
Thus, the basic salary remains unchanged at the current level of VND 2.34 million/month according to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP.
Because the salary of civil servants in 2025 does not increase, the salary of this subject will still be applied according to the salary from July 1, 2024.
The formula for calculating civil servant salaries in 2025 will be implemented according to Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV, specifically:
Salary = Basic salary x Salary coefficient
The professional titles of type B civil servants are specified in Table 3 issued with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, amended and supplemented by Point d Clause 3 Article 1 Decree 17/2013/ND-CP.
Accordingly, the professional titles of type B civil servants include: Social worker; intermediate midwife; intermediate medical technician; intermediate nursing; intermediate population worker; occupational safety technical inspection technician; intermediate surveyor and cartographer; intermediate land surveyor; intermediate environmental resource investigator; intermediate hydrometeorological forecaster; intermediate hydrometeorological controller; intermediate environmental resource observer.
Based on the above formula, the salary table for type B civil servants in 2025 is as follows:
