On December 24, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor informed that in 2024, all levels of trade unions in the province admitted 6,705 new members. Of which, the number of members increased by 3,287 (reaching 67% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor).

In 2024, the economic recession lasted for a long time, many businesses in Dak Lak province dissolved or temporarily suspended operations. The fact that trade unions at all levels in Dak Lak province recruited 6,705 new members is a very commendable effort.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said: "In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province set a target of developing 5,000 new union members. Of which, an increase of 4,000 union members, establishment of 6 grassroots trade unions for enterprises with 25 or more employees".
According to Mr. Thanh, 100% of state-owned enterprises and at least 75% of non-state enterprises organize labor conferences and dialogues at the workplace.
Grassroots union officials continue to grasp the thoughts and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
