On October 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to organize the 3rd Festival of Accompanying Young Workers in the City in 2024. The festival took place in District 6, lasting from October 20 to 27.
On this occasion, the organizers presented 200 gifts and 5 motorbikes to workers in difficult circumstances; 20 gifts to children and students in difficult circumstances affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
At the same time, the Festival organizes a youth workers' market, market stabilization booths for workers, and booths responding to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
Within the framework of the Festival, the organizers also opened playgrounds, legal advice and policies related to the legal and legitimate rights and interests of workers such as booths supporting legal advice for workers; loan advice for young workers; free haircut booths, 0 VND booths...
Walking around the festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (District 6) bought some essential items for her family. "The festival sells many necessary items for the family at reasonable prices. This is a meaningful program, helping workers have a reasonable space to play and shop" - Ms. Lan shared.
