700 athletes from 25 units in the Banking sector competed in 8 competition categories, including: Couples under 40 years old; Couples from 40 years old and over; U12-13 father-child pair; U14-15 father-child pair; U12-13 mother-child pair; U14-15 mother-child pair; Leadership exchange for men's doubles and leadership exchange for mixed doubles. In addition to the competition categories, the Organizing Committee also implemented many accompanying activities for union members, workers and family members, including: Thematic seminar "Let children love books in the digital age", contributing to spreading reading culture in the family; booths introducing books, educational products, household appliances...; Health consultation and care programs with clinical examinations, ultrasounds and experiencing relaxation therapies...
The 2026 Vietnam Bank Pickleball Family Cup is not only a sports tournament but also a meaningful cultural activity, contributing to building a humane, cohesive and happy living environment.
Mr. Tran Quang Kien, working at LPbank (Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank) Thai Nguyen branch, and his wife won the First Prize for a couple aged 40 and over, not hiding their joy when the final match ended. Mr. Kien said that the tournament is what many people expect because it is a motivation to improve general health and improve the level of playing Pickleball in particular.
The selection of Pickleball - a modern, dynamic and strongly developing sport in Vietnam - shows the spirit of innovation and creativity of the Vietnam Bank Union in diversifying activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and employees. Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament affirmed: This year's Vietnam Bank Pickleball Family Cup is of special significance as for the first time the Vietnam Bank Union organizes a sports tournament exclusively for union members, employees and family members.
This is not only a playground to train health and improve physical fitness, but also an opportunity for union member families to exchange and nurture the good values of Vietnamese families. Thereby, creating more motivation for each official and employee to feel secure in their work, stick with agencies and units and continue to contribute to the development of the Banking industry. The enthusiastic participation, noble sportsmanship, solidarity and emotional moments of the athletes have shown the way and content of innovation in the right direction in the activities of the Vietnam Bank Union.
