The end of the year is the peak season for production and business, leading to a sharp increase in recruitment demand. However, for job seekers, this is also a pressure period when they have to both worry about finding a job in time and hope to find a suitable position with a good income to prepare for Tet.

Having just quit her job at a company that she has been with for 3 years, Ms. Tran Le Thuy Anh (26 years old) - a bachelor of International Business - is looking for a position as a sales or market development specialist with a stable income. However, through surveys and searches, Ms. Thuy Anh found that, despite having an international business degree, recruiting companies at the end of the year often focus on personnel for seasonal orders or domestic business positions.
To find a job with the right expertise, I have to invest a lot of time in interviewing, convincing the employer to see my potential. The biggest pressure is to get a job with a long-term contract, not just a seasonal matter to be able to celebrate Tet with peace of mind and have a development plan for next year," said Ms. Thuy Anh.
Having just graduated from university, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tan (23 years old) - a bachelor of Business Administration - is also "accelerating" the application in the hope of finding a stable job before Tet.
"I applied for many sales and marketing positions. Although they know this is a busy recruitment season, businesses often prioritize people with 1-2 years of experience. New graduates like me find it very difficult to jostle. The biggest wish is to have a stable job before Tet, but if it is not in my field, I am also worried about the development direction, Mr. Tan shared.
Meanwhile, looking for a job at the age of 45, Mr. Nguyen Hue Minh (O Mon ward, Can Tho city) expressed his concern about physical fitness and income.
"At this age, I just hope to find a job as a security guard or a worker, working seasonally, as long as my income is stable to take care of my 2 children. The factories are now recruiting more young workers, we are old and still have skills but our health is not as good as before. Every time I submit an application, I am worried and afraid that I won't pass the health interview round," Mr. Minh shared.

According to the forecast of the Can Tho City Employment Service Center, in the last months of 2025, the city's labor market will have many optimistic signals as the economy continues to grow. Enterprises prioritize promoting production activities, creating job opportunities for workers. In particular, unskilled labor positions are still at the top of the recruitment list of businesses.
To promote job creation activities, the City Employment Service Center is continuing to maintain and improve the quality of job fairs; strengthen coordination in organizing job counseling and skills counseling activities for students, laborers; regularly informing vacant job positions through the Center's channels... Thereby, helping workers promptly grasp and soon find stable and suitable jobs.
