Changing recruitment trends
In the context of vibrant digital transformation, the labor market, especially businesses, has also had a clear change in recruitment requirements. Instead of experience, factors related to software skills, AI application and other technologies are increasingly focused on.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh - Deputy Head of Human Resources Administration Department of Broland Real Estate Joint Stock Company in the West - the company is looking for students and bachelors who are passionate about learning.
After receiving many students from universities, Ms. Quynh assessed that students today have good soft skills such as presentation and critical thinking, but lack practical experience. Therefore, when entering the company, students will be trained 1-1 in skills to knowledge, and have the opportunity to experience practical work.

Ms. Quynh also especially emphasized the importance of technology understanding for candidates: "Digital transformation is an inevitable trend, we hope that students will equip themselves with a foundation of knowledge and skills in technology and AI application to meet current job requirements".
Mr. Nguyen Binh Yen - Real Estate Business Specialist, Cara Group Joint Stock Company - shared that educational qualifications, communication skills, spirit and working attitude are the criteria the company is interested in when recruiting personnel.
Keeping up with social trends, the company has now applied tools such as ChatGPT, AI to marketing strategy, social media, etc. This requires candidates to proactively equip themselves with knowledge about technology and digital transformation.
Many students have adapted quickly and applied AI in their studies. This is a good thing, creating a solid foundation, supporting students who are proficient in high technology, software, and content creation when the recruitment company requires them, said Mr. Yen.
Flexible adaptation
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - Director of the Can Tho City Employment Service Center (DVVL) - the picture of the labor market in the last 6 months of 2025 has great opportunities. The rapid development and extensive integration of the economy has led to an increase in human resource demand in some economic groups, especially those associated with international trends in trade, investment and digital transformation activities.
It is forecasted that 5 industry groups will have a need to recruit many workers including Sales, IT, Marketing/Communication/Advertising, Customer Service and Human Resources.

The application of AI in many fields is currently considered a top priority for businesses in 2025 because it helps optimize costs and improve work efficiency. The application of AI is considered necessary for industries that use data and require the ability to process large data.
