The joy of workers
Different from normal days, the atmosphere at 29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company in mid-December becomes much more bustling. In the image of dozens of orderly workers lining up next to a specialized vehicle to take X-rays, everyone clearly looked excited when receiving thoughtful and completely free health care.
Mr. Ho Van Minh - a worker at the company - shared: "I have been working here for 4 years. Thanks to examinations like this, we can monitor our health to work with peace of mind. I hope that the union will have more other health examination programs such as blood testing so that we can better know about our health status".
With 33 years of experience with the company, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuc said that the company's 6-month/time health check-up activities have helped employees detect diseases early. This free lung screening program is very meaningful.
"This is a very good and valuable program, especially helping unable-to-able workers get timely medical examination. I hope that the program will be expanded to other specialties such as eyes or other diseases to better support workers, helping them contribute long-term to the company," said Mr. Phuc.

Accompanying the Trade Union and enterprises
The free lung disease screening program is an activity of the Da Nang City Labor Federation and Da Nang Lung Hospital, aiming to provide health care for about 1,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances who do not have conditions to be examined and screened in industrial parks in the city.
Participating workers will be screened, interviewed, and taken digital X-rays. Cases with suspicious signs will be tested for phlegm using Gene Xpert technique for accurate diagnosis. If the disease is detected, workers will be registered for treatment immediately at the Regional Tuberculosis Control Team.
Representing the enterprise, Mr. Tran Xuan home - Deputy General Director of 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company - expressed his joy and appreciated the program.
"Caring for the health of workers is a responsibility that businesses always pay attention to. In addition to this meaningful program of the City Labor Federation, the company also regularly organizes periodic health check-ups, takes care of mid-shift meals, and visits when sick.
We really hope that humanitarian programs like this will continue to be implemented, not only for the company's employees but also for all employees in the city" - Mr. Hoa said.

According to the plan, the program will take place at 6 large enterprises in industrial parks from December 15 to December 21, including Da Nang Cement One Member Co., Ltd., 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company, Kad Industrial S.A Vietnam One Member Co., Ltd. and many other units.
