On February 9, at Minh Du Poultry Breeding Co., Ltd. (Tuy Phuoc commune, Gia Lai), the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize the Program of Visiting and Giving Gifts from Party and State Leaders on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 to union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ).
Attending the program were Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Agencies; Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and leaders of Gia Lai province.
Reporting on the production and business situation and Tet care for workers, Mr. Le Van Du - Chairman of the Member Council cum General Director of Minh Du Poultry Breeding Co., Ltd. - said that in 2025, despite facing many difficulties due to market fluctuations and severe natural disasters, the company still maintained effective production and business, achieving revenue of 700 billion VND, creating stable jobs for more than 600 workers.
During the traditional Tet holiday, the company allocated 4.7 billion VND to care for the lives of employees; the grassroots trade union spent 115 million VND to support and care for Tet for officials and union members.
Visiting and encouraging union members and workers, Party and State leaders presented 46 Tet gifts to union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances of the company, each worth 2.3 million VND (including 2 million VND in cash and 300,000 VND in gifts).
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung cordially inquired about health and life and sent Tet wishes of peace to all union members and employees of the company.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, in 2025, the country faced many difficulties and challenges, especially due to natural disasters and storms. However, the whole country made efforts to overcome them, achieving proud growth results, with the country's GRDP reaching 8.02%, the scale of the economy being more than 514 billion USD, ranking 32nd in the world.
To achieve this result, there is an important contribution from the business community nationwide, including Minh Du Poultry Breeding Co., Ltd. - a bright spot in the development of the agricultural production chain. This Tet holiday, businesses continue to pay attention to and ensure good care for union members and workers.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung also praised the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation for directing and guiding businesses to focus on taking care of Tet for union members and workers, not leaving anyone behind. At the same time, he highly appreciated the practical and meaningful Tet gifts that the Provincial Labor Federation has been and is preparing for workers.
Because I cannot go to all places to wish Tet to people and workers, through the Provincial Labor Federation, I would like to send New Year greetings and the best feelings to all workers in Gia Lai province - the core force, making important contributions to the development of the country in general and the province in particular," Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung expressed.
Expressing joy at the concern of Party and State leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam (born 1967, residing in Xuan Lanh commune, Dak Lak province), a worker at Minh Du Poultry Breeding Co., Ltd. shared that every Tet holiday, workers receive timely care from all levels, sectors, and organizations.
The storm and flood at the end of November 2025 damaged the corrugated iron roof of my house, and many items were swept away. These gifts help me repair my house, cover expenses and celebrate a warmer Tet. In difficult times, receiving such attention, I am very grateful," Ms. Tam expressed.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung also presented gifts to Minh Du Poultry Breeding Co., Ltd., to recognize and commend the enterprise's efforts in developing production and business, creating stable jobs and taking care of the lives of workers.
