Substantive dialogue
With 839 employees, 100% union members, NCTS is not only an air cargo service provider but also a "labor ecosystem" that requires high harmony between business and employee interests.
In that context, Mr. Dinh Trong Son - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, and also Deputy General Director of the Company, chose a methodical approach: turning dialogue into a platform, negotiation into a tool, and trust into a goal.

Under his leadership, the NCTS Trade Union has built a rigorous dialogue process, starting from collecting workers' opinions, summarizing, analyzing, to organizing periodic and unscheduled dialogue sessions.
Key issues such as salaries, bonuses, meals, working conditions or allowances are all put on the agenda and handled promptly. Not only stopping at exchanging, reasonable contents are concretized into policies, included in the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA).
As a result, the Company's collective labor agreement scored 88 points, ranked A - a number that reflects not only the quality of the document but also the effectiveness of the entire negotiation process.
Notably, the average income of workers increased from 14 million VND/person/month in 2023 to 26 million VND/person/month in 2025.
According to Mr. Son, to have clauses that are "more beneficial than the law", it is important to understand both sides. Before each negotiation, the Trade Union conducts a survey of the actual living standards of workers, and compares policies with businesses in the same region.
From there, the proposals made are not only based on legitimate aspirations but also suitable for the financial capacity of businesses. "Negotiation is not about gaining a share, but about finding a sustainable balance point," Mr. Son shared.

Expanding to workers' families
His personal imprint is clearly shown in the profound humanistic clauses. Article 12 of the Collective Labor Agreement - on welfare and allowances is considered the "heart" of the document.
Here, the policies are not only aimed at workers but also extend to their families: support from 1 to 3 months of regional minimum wage when suffering from serious illnesses; death support when families encounter risks; maintaining funeral and vacation regimes, birthday gifts...
In particular, Article 14 - regulations for female workers are considered "bright spots". The support of 500,000 VND/month for female workers raising young children under 12 months old not only has material value but also shows respect for the role of motherhood.
In the context that many businesses still see this mission as a "burden", NCTS's policy goes in the opposite direction: accompanying and sharing.
Not only stopping at content, the method of organizing dialogues at NCTS is also innovated in a democratic and open direction. Workers are encouraged to speak directly, express their views without hesitation.
According to Mr. Son, this is the "gap" that needs to be filled, when a part of workers are still psychologically hesitant to speak out. "To have substantive dialogue, first of all, it is necessary to create trust so that workers dare to speak out," he emphasized.
It is frankness and transparency in dialogue that has helped narrow the gap between workers and employers. Many practical opinions have become the basis for policy adjustments, contributing to improving productivity and employee attachment.
According to Ms. Nghiem Thi Thu Thuy - an employee of the Import Goods Service Team, TULĐTT is not just a document but "the presence of the Company in every moment of workers". From holidays and Tet, children's academic achievements to difficult times, workers all feel specific companionship.
Mr. Dinh Trong Son will soon be commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as an excellent and typical grassroots Trade Union Chairman in collective dialogue and negotiation work in 2026.
