In recent times, trade unions at all levels in Duy Xuyen district have actively implemented activities to practical care for union members and workers. Many meaningful programs such as supporting the "Union Shelter" house, caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, helping policy families, sponsoring children in especially difficult circumstances... have been effectively implemented.
In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, the District Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", giving more than 400 gifts with a total value of 384 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances. Grassroots unions also mobilized resources to give Tet gifts to nearly 13,000 union members and workers with a total budget of more than 10 billion VND.
Along with that, the patriotic emulation movement, responding to Workers' Month was organized enthusiastically. Many grassroots trade unions in the school sector have made a clear change in building agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards, and well implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
At the conference to summarize the work of trade unions in the 2024 - 2025 school year, Duy Xuyen District People's Committee coordinated with the District Labor Federation to commend and reward 40 collectives and 6 outstanding individuals in the school sector for their outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the past school year.
