In recent times, Da Nang city has had solutions to support labor market development and organize effective job exchanges.

According to the Department of Statistics of Da Nang City, in recent times, the city has had solutions to support the development of the labor market, organize effective job exchanges, and connect labor supply and demand in the area through periodic and mobile job exchanges.

As a result, in October 2024 alone, the city organized 4 job fairs; the number of participating businesses was 514 units, the total number of positions needed to be recruited at the fairs was 25,250 people; jobs were created for 406 workers. At the same time, the city organized a Job Fair for demobilized soldiers and workers in Lien Chieu district in 2024. There were 88 units participating in recruitment, creating jobs for 192 workers.

Regarding the job creation loan program, the total capital for job creation loans currently being managed and operated is 3,526 billion VND, of which the loan amount up to the end of September 2024 is 1,178 billion VND with 17,251 projects, contributing to job creation for 17,292 workers, with an average loan of more than 68 million VND per worker.

Regarding the management and licensing of foreign workers, the city has issued 58 new licenses; reissued 21 licenses, extended 28 licenses, confirmed 11 cases not subject to work permit issuance; and approved the demand for foreign workers of 62 enterprises for 87 positions.

Since the beginning of the year, in the field of labor export, Da Nang city has sent 195 people to work abroad, mainly in the Japanese market; and organized the sending of 699 seasonal workers in the agricultural sector to work in Korea.
