On July 30, a working delegation led by Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, concurrently Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, visited and worked with 2 grassroots trade unions in An Nghiep Industrial Park.

At Mediprotek Vina Co., Ltd., the representative of the grassroots Trade Union said that they are currently managing 529 union members/575 workers. In recent times, the union has actively coordinated with enterprises in improving benefits such as fuel allowances, supporting female workers, taking care of union members' children, organizing visits, giving birthday gifts, etc. In particular, the implementation of the union product model helps union members increase their income and is actively responded to by workers. The union is also planning to organize sports festivals, performances and union meals to connect union members.

The Trade Union of luckytex Soc Trang Company Limited currently represents 1,064 union members and workers. The union effectively maintains the work of caring for the material and spiritual lives, closely coordinates with enterprises in implementing union funds, visiting and giving gifts to union members in accordance with regulations, and developing a strong organization.
At the meeting, Ms. Tran Ngoc My informed about the merger of trade union organizations in the three provinces of Soc Trang, Hau Giang and the old Can Tho City, officially forming the new Can Tho City Labor Federation. The Vice President of the City Labor Federation acknowledged and highly appreciated the typical models and movements at the two grassroots unions, and at the same time requested that the advisory departments soon provide guidance and support for the grassroots unions to operate more effectively in the coming time.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, Ms. Tran Ngoc My presented the gift to the enterprise as a thank you for her active companionship in caring for workers.
