Coming up from a worker
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu Anh (48 years old) has worked for 26 years at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province).
In the period of 2020-2025, she will take on the role of Head of the direct production department of 4 workshops A, B, C, K, responsible for managing all items of the plants such as: Human resources, production, trade union activities and concurrently hold the additional role of Chairman of the Department Trade Union.
During the process of taking on the role of direct production, she has fulfilled her role well, putting the departments ahead in all categories and received many awards from the company such as: Mes 3.0, Tpm, Safety... achieving high results compared to the KPI of the factory.
Ms. Tu Anh is also in charge of implementing the program "1 million innovation initiatives" at the Trade Union of Plant A, C, B, K with more than 25,000 innovation initiatives throughout her time participating in the movement.
In the improvement category, she won many major awards that brought long-term benefits to the plant and the entire company. In the past 3 years, from 2022-2025, Ms. Tu Anh has implemented many innovation initiatives to support businesses in saving raw material costs and improving the working environment with many positive and effective projects. In which, there are 3 typical initiatives including: Initiative to recycle and reuse production tools, saving nearly 200 million VND for businesses; Initiative to reduce labor costs to save over 250 million VND (reducing 6 people) and initiative to improve production equipment and tools, saving more than 1 billion VND for businesses.
An active union official
In addition to production activities, Ms. Tu Anh is also an active union official, always taking the lead in performing well the tasks assigned by the union and the organization.
She was also assigned to participate in organizing sports movements, cultural, entertainment and artistic activities for union members and workers such as: Visiting workers in boarding houses, disseminating knowledge about labor laws to workers; Organizing annual International Women's Day celebrations with more than 5,000 workers participating; Traditional men's football tournament; Organizing Mid-Autumn Festival programs for workers; Organizing singing competitions for Taekwang staff; Organizing women's football tournaments; Organizing the "TKG Taekwang Golden Tennis Tournament" badminton tournament...
As a female union official, Ms. Tu Anh has coordinated with the grassroots union executive board and the company's board of directors to implement many initiatives in union activities and achieved many results in the past year such as: Innovation in the method of "Mobilizing and developing new union members" to achieve high efficiency by always maintaining 100% of workers participating in the union organization; Inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies in the company for more than 34,000 workers at 4 branches and subsidies always ensuring compliance with legal regulations and in accordance with signed agreements.
Always be close to union members and workers to grasp their aspirations; Build stable and harmonious labor relations, avoid fluctuations and labor disputes in the workplace over the years.
