Female Trade Union Chairwoman - special candidate of Dong Thap Provincial People's Council

In the list of candidates for the 11th Dong Thap Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui is the only female full-time Trade Union Chairwoman introduced to participate in the election, representing the voice of union members and workers and laborers (NLĐ) in the area. According to Ms. Vui, being introduced to run is not only an individual honor but also a great responsibility.

If trusted by voters, I hope to continue to promote my work experience, listen to the thoughts of the people, workers, and laborers to truthfully reflect to competent authorities, contributing to building policies suitable to the reality of life," Ms. Vui shared. She participated in the election at Election Unit No. 6, a locality with a large number of working people living there.

Ms. Vui was commented by many colleagues as having a strong and decisive working style. After graduating, she returned to her hometown to work. With the thought "what you don't know, learn", she gradually adapted and completed her tasks well. She was successively trusted and assigned many important responsibilities such as Vice Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee, then she held many positions in Party agencies, unions and authorities from commune to provincial levels before becoming Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ).

In the role of head of the Trade Union organization of Dong Thap province, Ms. Vui is known as a close-knit cadre at the grassroots level and has many initiatives. Prominent is the construction of the "Trade Union Living Corner" model at the Provincial Labor Federation agency. This space is arranged with tea tables, newspapers and many forms of activities for union members to exchange, share experiences and spread good stories about the Trade Union organization. She also spends a lot of time visiting workers in difficult circumstances... Traveling a lot and interacting a lot, Ms. Vui understands the difficulties of workers even more. Therefore, in her work, she always emphasizes putting the interests of the collective, union members and workers first. She is also the one who proactively strengthens the connection of the Provincial Trade Union organization with many units, localities and media agencies, thereby creating more resources to better care for union members and workers.

Special Action Program

When participating in the election of delegates to the People's Council of Dong Thap province for the 2026-2031 term, Ms. Tuyet Vui proposed an action program with many special contents, closely linked to the lives of people and workers. First of all, she committed to continue to train political bravery, improve professional qualifications to well perform the role of elected representative, contributing to improving the quality of activities of the Provincial People's Council.

She also focused on maintaining close contact with voters, regularly contacting, listening to and promptly reflecting people's legitimate recommendations to competent authorities. In addition, she committed to actively participating in building resolutions on socio-economic development, especially policies directly related to workers such as employment, income, social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. In her role as Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation, she also wishes to propose solutions to improve the quality of lunch meals to ensure food safety and hygiene, and better care for the material and spiritual lives of workers, especially in industrial parks. At the same time, she is interested in developing skilled human resources, contributing to meeting the requirements of labor structure transformation in agriculture and rural areas.

With the action motto "Listening - reflecting - acting", Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui hopes that if trusted by voters, it will continue to be a bridge between workers and people-elected agencies, contributing to building an increasingly effective, efficient and closer to the people government.
