On October 28, the Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union announced that the unit had successfully organized the 1st Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference for the 2025-2030 term. The conference was held in the spirit of "unity - democracy - discipline - innovation - development".
The conference was attended by 90 official delegates representing all union members and workers in the ward.
The Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union was established and officially put into operation in July 2025. Up to now, the ward has 79 grassroots unions with 6,953 union members.
In recent times, the Ward Union has implemented many practical activities, focusing on caring for the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. In addition, the unit promotes propaganda, mobilization, and innovation of content and methods of operation in accordance with the reality at the facility.
During the 2025-2030 term, the Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union has set 20 main targets, striving to complete 9 targets each year. The Ward Trade Union is determined to continue to affirm its role as a strong representative organization of workers, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the locality.
The conference presented the decision on the appointment of the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union, term I, consisting of 11 comrades. In which, Mr. Ly Van Minh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.
On this occasion, the conference launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10, with 9.4 million VND and awarded the "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" Medal in 2025 to individuals who have made many contributions to trade union work.
