On October 27, the Long Nguyen Ward Trade Union (HCMC) announced that the unit had organized the first Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union's Area Working Group No. 9, commune and ward trade unions and the presence of 70 delegates representing nearly 10,000 union members of 58 grassroots trade unions in the ward.
The conference listened to and agreed with the political report on trade union activities in the recent past and the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
At the conference, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key personnel of the Long Nguyen Ward Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term was announced. Mr. To Tien Quan holds the position of Chairman of the Long Nguyen Ward Trade Union.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Long Nguyen Ward Trade Union, Mr. To Tien Quan expressed his determination to unite, uphold his sense of responsibility, and strive to fulfill the tasks well in the spirit of the Resolution set forth by the Conference, making an important contribution to the development of the locality.
It is known that Long Nguyen ward was established on the basis of merging the entire Long Nguyen commune, An Dien ward and Quarter 1 of My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat city, Binh Duong province. The new Long Nguyen ward has a natural area of 108.003 km2 and a population of 53,387 people.
