During the past term, the Hospital Trade Union has successfully completed the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 2nd Hospital Trade Union Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Hospital's political tasks.
The trade union coordinates with the government to arrange labor reasonably, promote democratic rights at the grassroots level, ensure the Regulations on organization and operation of the Hospital and the People's Inspectorate; actively care for the lives of union members, civil servants, and workers (DV,VC-NLD). Accordingly, the unit has worked with the government to provide grants for difficulties and donate to VC-NLD when union members and their families are sick and in need with a total amount of nearly 700 million VND. The allowance and subsidy regimes for VC-NLD have been well implemented.
The grassroots trade union has widely implemented mutual love and support work, with 100% of employees participating in contributing nearly 834 million VND. Of which, the Golden Heart Fund is nearly 66 million VND, the Fund for the Poor is nearly 414 million VND and supports areas affected by natural disasters, floods and floods with over 350 million VND. In addition, the Hospital also organized a gift giving ceremony for children of VC-NLD on the occasion of the New Year's Opening with an amount of nearly 81 million VND.

Every year, the Executive Committee (EC) of the Hospital Trade Union coordinates with the government and trade union groups to closely follow the political goals and tasks of the unit, develop plans, contents and implement the patriotic emulation movement among VC-NLD. Through the implementation, union cadres and VC-NLD have strived to work with orientation, family lines, and improved work quality; closely linking emulation with rewards, encouragement, and motivation to complete political tasks of the collective and individuals.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Hospital Trade Union, with many impressive results in the past term.
In the context of the health sector being strongly transformed towards modernity, professionalism and integration, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation suggested that the Hospital Trade Union should continue to focus on taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers. The Congress elected 11 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new term Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025-2030. Comrade Ngo Van Dung was elected Chairman of the Trade Union of Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital for the 2025-2030 term.
