The Congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, representatives of a number of Departments, branches, sectors, and unions of Ha Tinh and 150 delegates representing nearly 38,000 union members of Ha Tinh Trade Union.
At the Congress, Mr. Ngo Dinh Van - Vice President of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor presented the political report of the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor, term XIX, period 2023 - 2025.
Accordingly, in terms of caring for the interests of union members, Ha Tinh trade unions at all levels have mobilized social resources to support 84,983 gifts for union members in difficult circumstances, worth 46.98 billion VND.
Support the construction and repair of 312 "Union Shelters", with an amount of more than 9.4 billion VND; support the construction and repair of 4 boarding houses and 6 public housing units for union members with an amount of 16.9 billion VND; 363 enterprises supporting shift meals for workers; more than 30,000 union members and workers are given the opportunity to visit and relax;
896 units organized activities to thank employees and 173 units organized welfare programs for 32,094 union members with a benefit of VND9.1 billion.
The patriotic emulation movement was widely deployed, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
According to the assessment, in the period of 2023 - 2025, Ha Tinh trade union activities have achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields. Up to now, the targets of the Resolution of the 19th Congress have basically exceeded the plan, in which some targets were higher. That result contributes to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
The report also pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in Trade Union activities in the 2023-2025 period; stated goals, targets, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Ha Van Hung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that Ha Tinh Trade Union has achieved in the past time. That result contributes significantly to the socio-economic development of Ha Tinh province.
Mr. Ha Van Hung also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations of the Ha Tinh Trade Union and suggested that the Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress discuss and analyze carefully to find solutions to effectively implement the targets and tasks in the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Ha Tinh Trade Union should continue to improve the effectiveness of Trade Union activities, actively innovate, do a good job of representing and protecting legitimate rights and interests and taking care of the lives of union members and workers; pay attention to supporting, fostering and improving skills for the labor force.
Launch and effectively implement emulation movements to improve labor productivity, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals of the province.
The Congress elected 9 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2026-2031 term.
The Congress reported the results of the first conference of the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor, term XX, 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the Conference elected 7 comrades to the Standing Committee.
The conference elected comrade Nguyen The Hoan, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to re-elect him as Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term.
The conference elected comrade Ngo Dinh Van and comrade Tang Thi Linh Chi to re-elect as Vice Chairmen of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor.
The conference elected an Inspection Committee of 5 people. Comrade Ngo Dinh Van, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, was introduced to propose that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor appoint him to the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
The delegates voted to approve the Resolution of the 20th Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
