Trade unions must truly be an organization of workers
The Congress was attended by 214 outstanding delegates representing over 41,000 union members and workers (Union, Labor) in the Agribank system.
In the period of 2023 - 2025, Agribank Trade Union (AT) has comprehensively completed the key targets, reaching 8/8 targets under its direct responsibility and 5/5 coordination targets according to the Resolution of the 6th Congress, thereby contributing to strengthening Agribank's position as the leading commercial bank in Vietnam.
One of the typical examples of the work of protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and employees is the Saigon Central Branch Trade Union. The Trade Union coordinated professionally to organize an exchange of Agribank's policies for all staff, units, and employees at Saigon Central Branch and Branch 1 so that the units, employees can agree and join hands, work with the Branch's Board of Directors to effectively implement and promptly implement the arrangement and transformation of the organizational apparatus in accordance with the plan of the Head Office.
Target of admitting 100% of eligible employees to the Trade Union
Faced with new requirements and new challenges, the period marking fundamental changes in the Trade Union organization model, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 7th Congress of Agribank Trade Union set goals and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term with annual targets and term targets.

One of the annual targets is to admit 100% of qualified employees to the Trade Union; each year, at least 90% of grassroots unions complete their tasks well or better; 100% of employees in the system are signed labor contracts, fully participate in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; strive to collect 100% of the Union's financial contributions compared to the amount payable for union fees and union fees according to regulations...
Some targets implemented during the term include: By the end of the term, 100% of grassroots trade unions representing union members and employees will sign Collective Labor Agreements; by the end of the term, 100% of grassroots trade unions will carry out digital transformation in union activities, meeting the requirements and tasks of the trade union organization in the new period...
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank - highly appreciated the activities of the Agribank Trade Union and emphasized the implementation of Resolutions, especially the application of digital transformation; the Union must be the core of solidarity; must accompany the implementation of professional tasks; must continue to do a good job of caring for members and employees. The Congress elected the Agribank Trade Union Executive Committee, term VII, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 23 people.
