On November 1, the Trade Union of New Mingda Vietnam Co., Ltd. held the 2nd Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Truong Thanh Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, attended and directed.
In the 2023-2028 term, the Trade Union has achieved many outstanding results, raising the union membership rate from 81% to 93%. The trade union has performed well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers, with 100% of workers being considered for timely salary increases and having procedures to issue social insurance and health insurance cards in a timely manner.
Activities to care for life such as giving gifts on holidays, rewarding children of union members who are good at studying, visiting sick people, giving birth, and passing away are maintained regularly.
The emulation movement "Good workers; Workers achieving and exceeding productivity and quality targets" has been effectively implemented, with a total average bonus of VND 887,811,823/month.
The 2025-2030 term orientation focuses on: representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members; propagating and mobilizing to raise awareness of legal policies; promoting the emulation movement for initiatives, improving, improving productivity, quality, practicing thrift; and improving the quality of union staff.
The new Executive Committee consists of 5 members, chaired by Ms. Dao Yen Huynh, with the general goal of "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development", aiming for 100% of union members to be admitted, 100% of cadres to receive professional training, promptly resolve complaints and denunciations, and improve inspection work.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Truong Thanh Dung praised the efforts of the Executive Committee and union members over the past term, and suggested solutions to improve the effectiveness of union activities, build a strong Executive Committee, and an in-depth emulation movement.
Mr. Dung suggested solutions to improve the effectiveness of Trade Union activities in the new term, focusing on signing Collective Labor Agreements that are more beneficial to union members, promoting the emulation movement of "good workers", "creative workers" and promoting technical innovation initiatives.
