The Hanh Thong Ward Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City has just successfully organized the 1st delegation conference for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The ward union currently manages 168 grassroots unions with nearly 6,000 union members. Since its establishment, the Hanh Thong Ward Labor Union has carried out many tasks assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
The Hanh Thong Ward Trade Union Conference has determined the goal of focusing on caring for and comprehensively protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. At the same time, strengthen propaganda and education to improve political awareness and professional skills; expand the solidarity front, gather union members and workers, build a strong ward union in all aspects.
The Hanh Thong Ward Trade Union also set out a number of key targets implemented by the ward trade union during the term such as: mobilizing the establishment of grassroots trade unions in 100% of enterprises with 20 or more employees; during the term of establishment of at least one grassroots trade union; during the term of admission, at least 500 union members were admitted.
At the same time, provide legal advice and support to 100% of union members and workers when required; coordinate or organize at least one activity to care for the children of workers in the area each year and organize at least one cultural and sports activity to serve union members and workers in the area.
