The 1st Conference of Tan Tao Ward Trade Union Delegates, Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030, has just been held and passed a resolution, in which the targets implemented by the ward trade union include: Developing 300 union members each year, striving for 100% of enterprises and public service units with 20 or more employees to establish grassroots trade unions (CDCS), and establishing at least one grassroots trade union each year.
The conference also approved key programs such as: Workers' Accompanying Program, including continuing to innovate care work, mobilizing resources with the union to present 3 "Union Shelters", giving 5,000 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, establishing 3 union member welfare points to serve necessities at a discount of 5 to 35% compared to market prices, coordinating with units to organize mass weddings for workers.

The program to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities and increase the gathering of workers in the Vietnam Trade Union will effectively implement the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities, contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation".
The program to implement digital transformation in trade union activities deploys the application of digital technology in trade union activities: propaganda, education, care... among union members, contributing to the successful implementation of the "digital education" movement launched by the Government.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Chairman of the Tan Tao Ward Trade Union - said that the conference launched a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10 and support the Cuban people with a total amount of more than 18 million VND.
