Reality shows that most union members in Lam Dong province are young workers, working at businesses, industrial parks and production facilities in the area. In the context of rapid economic development, many industrial parks have been formed and thousands of businesses are operating, creating great motivation for the locality.
However, besides that, the requirement to care for and protect the rights of workers is also increasingly high for trade union organizations. Over the past time, trade union levels in the province have implemented many activities towards grassroots levels, taking the interests of union members and workers as the center. The trade union organizational structure continues to be consolidated, gradually improving operational efficiency. Notably, 28 commune, ward, and special zone trade unions have gone into stable operation, becoming a bridge between trade union organizations and union members and businesses.
In the process of industrialization and modernization, trade union organizations are not only a support for union members but also play an important role in building a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment. Many grassroots trade unions have proactively organized periodic dialogues with businesses, negotiated to increase wages, bonuses, meals and improve working conditions for workers. Thereby, many practical rights of workers are guaranteed, contributing to limiting labor disputes and maintaining a stable investment environment in the locality.
In the context of a large area and uneven distribution of businesses, the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, set out 3 breakthroughs including: Strengthening dialogue and collective bargaining on wages; developing union members in non-state sector enterprises; promoting comprehensive digital transformation in trade union activities. Along with that are 9 key tasks to improve the quality of representation, care and protection of workers' rights.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, said that in the coming time, the Provincial Trade Union will continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, and build a team of trade union officials to meet the requirements in the new situation. "One of the things we aim for is to promote the right to mastery of workers and laborers," Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang emphasized.
Accordingly, the trade union organization will continue to create conditions for union members to participate in contributing opinions, reflecting thoughts and aspirations at the workplace; and at the same time enhance the representative role of the trade union in negotiation and dialogue with businesses. This is considered an important solution to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
With the spirit of innovation, responsibility and strong orientation towards grassroots levels, Lam Dong Trade Union is gradually affirming its role as a reliable representative organization of workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong working class. Through this, trade union levels in the province strive to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the Resolution of the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, contributing to the whole country effectively implementing the targets of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
The Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation also sent congratulations on the successful XIV Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, opening a new stage of development for the Vietnam Trade Union organization, meeting the expectations of union members and workers nationwide.
