Ha Tinh - On the afternoon of October 1, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to support union members in Ha Tinh who suffered losses due to storm No. 10.

At the headquarters of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 200 million VND to the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor to support union members in the whole province who suffered damage caused by storm No. 10.

Receiving this amount of money, the leader of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit will review and make a list of union members affected and severely damaged by storm No. 10 to directly provide support to encourage them to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Next, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, together with the working delegation of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor and the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union, directly visited the Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant in the Vung Ang Economic Zone to inspect the damage caused by storm No. 10 at the plant.

According to the report of the representative of Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Company Limited, storm No. 10 completely collapsed the roof of the plant's coal storage facility, with estimated damage of more than 500 billion VND.

After the storm, input materials were affected, so the factory temporarily stopped operations and production. Currently, focusing on overcoming the problem to soon restore production.

After listening to the report, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor shared the damage to the Company and the Factory. At the same time, he encouraged the leaders, officers and employees of Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Company to strive to overcome difficulties, promptly overcome the consequences, soon stabilize production, ensure jobs, income and life for workers.

Here, the delegation presented 10 gifts to 10 workers of Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Company Limited, each gift worth 2 million VND.

The delegation also went directly to the house, visited and presented 2 gifts to the family of worker Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (residing in Hoanh Son ward), a union member of Hieu Thuan Company, and the family of worker Nguyen Thi Hoa (residing in Vung Ang ward), a union member of Tro Xiep Viet Hai Company. These are 2 workers whose houses were completely blown off by storm No. 10.
