Nghe An - Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented support to Nghe An workers after storm No. 10, spreading the spirit of sharing, helping workers soon stabilize their lives.

On the afternoon of October 1, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Party Committee (VFF), Central organizations, Vice Chairman of the VFF Central Committee, Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - directly presented support gifts to union members and workers affected by storms and floods in Nghe An.

Accompanying him were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; representative of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board.

Recently, the impact of 3 consecutive storms has caused heavy damage in Nghe An. In the province, thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, many roads and bridges were eroded and flooded over a large area.

In particular, the lives of tens of thousands of workers and laborers in industrial parks have been disrupted, many families have lost their income, and are lacking housing and living conditions.

To promptly share with union members and workers, the Trade Union organization has implemented many practical programs to support union members and workers.

On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented support to union members and workers in Nghe An province who suffered losses due to storms and floods with 500 million VND.

At Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Company Limited, the working delegation presented support to 12 union members of the company who were directly affected, each with 2 million VND. At the same time, the "Union Shelter" house support was presented to worker Ngan Thi Luong in difficult circumstances with an amount of 50 million VND.

Speaking at the program, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged the efforts in caring for union members and workers of trade unions at all levels in Nghe An province.

Sharing and deeply sympathizing with the damage and loss of union members and workers in storms and floods, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang affirmed that the Trade Union organization will always be a support, promptly caring for the lives and rights of union members. At the same time, they expressed their hope that the company's leaders would always ensure the regime for employees, thereby building harmonious and stable labor relations, helping employees feel secure in their contributions, contributing to the development of the business.

The company representative expressed her gratitude for the attention and practical support of authorities and trade unions at all levels in the past time, creating conditions for the company to develop stably and expressed her emotions at the attention of the working group of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to workers affected by natural disasters.

Consecutive storms 8, 9, 10 and floods caused by the storm have killed many people and left many people missing.
