Phu Yen province has just approved the Project "Developing labor relations in Phu Yen province, period 2024 - 2025, orientation to 2030", to strengthen and develop labor relations in the province, contributing to building a stable and harmonious working environment.

The project applies to employees, trade unions, employers, representative organizations of employers, state management agencies of labor relations, labor mediators, Labor Arbitration Councils and related organizations and individuals.

By 2025, the project will focus on strengthening and perfecting the organization and operation of state management units on labor relations at the provincial and district levels, completing the pilot of establishing records to monitor, manage and support labor relations at enterprises with more than 1,000 employees or enterprises at high risk of labor disputes.

The long-term goal by 2030 is that Phu Yen will have more than 85,900 union members. The project also emphasizes the important goal that 100% of enterprises with 25 or more employees and meeting the conditions will establish a union to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

100% of the executive board and the leadership of the organization representing workers at the facility will be trained and fostered in knowledge and skills of labor relations. At the same time, 80% of qualified enterprises will negotiate and sign collective labor agreements, with 80% of the agreements having provisions favorable to workers.

To implement the project, the key task is to promote dialogue and collective bargaining activities between employees and employers.

In particular, the effectiveness of conciliation and labor dispute resolution institutions will be enhanced to create a stable working environment, reduce strikes and labor disputes. The authorities will continue to implement measures to support workers in building sustainable labor relations.

Phu Yen Province has assigned the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with relevant units and localities to organize the implementation of this project in accordance with regulations. This project not only contributes to protecting the rights of workers, but also creates a fair and stable working environment, promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
