Increasing the value of shift meals for workers
Recently, many grassroots trade unions in Bac Ninh have organized Union Meals for union members and workers in the company. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (19.8), National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2.9).
At Tay Yen Tu Service Joint Stock Company, the Trade Union coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize the "Union Meal" program for union members and employees as a way of gratitude, sharing, and creating cohesion between employees and the enterprise and the Trade Union organization.
The "Union Meal" program was organized for nearly 60 union members and workers. Each meal is worth 100,000 VND/meal, an increase of 70,000 VND/meal compared to the usual meals supported by the union and businesses. dishes are richer and of better quality than usual, ensuring nutritional quality and food hygiene and safety for workers.

The higher purpose is to help union members and workers enjoy lunch in a friendly atmosphere, together in solidarity, talking, closely connecting union members and workers with the Trade Union organization and business leaders, reducing stress after work hours and also showing the concern of employers for workers.
Giving gifts on National Day to workers
At G.O.C Food Processing Export Joint Stock Company, to celebrate National Day on September 2, the grassroots union also coordinated with the leaders of G.O.C Food Processing Export Joint Stock Company to organize a Union Meal program and give gifts to the company's employees.
In the warm atmosphere, 125 union members and workers enjoyed lunch with optional meals according to their needs and dessert yogurt. It is known that the value of each meal is about 75,000 VND, of which the value is increased by 50,000 VND from the union budget.
At the program, the company's union awarded 28 union members with outstanding academic achievements with a total value of 11.2 million VND; presented gifts to 9 union members on their birthdays in August. On this occasion, the company's leaders presented gifts on the occasion of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to each worker of 500,000 VND, the team leader of 700,000 VND, the total gift amount was over 70 million VND. This is a very meaningful activity that the company's leaders and trade unions give to workers in caring for and ensuring the lives of workers, so that workers can strive to contribute their strength and intelligence to the stable and sustainable development of the company.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Chi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Crystal Martin Company Limited (Bac Ninh) - said that the company gives workers 3 days off during the National Day holiday, including 2 days off and 1 day off on weekends. To create an exciting atmosphere before the holiday, the company will organize a Union Meal with a higher meal value than usual.
"According to the grasp of the grassroots union, having a long holiday, workers are very happy and excited. Many workers plan to return to their hometowns to visit their families, because they have not returned home for a long time" - Mr. Nguyen Van Chi shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham (worker at an electronics company in Bac Ninh) said that she will have 3 days off for the upcoming September 2.
"I plan to go back to my hometown to visit my family and spend time with my husband and children. To make a living, I have to be away from my family, so days off like this are very precious, making up for the time away from home" - Ms. Tham shared.
