Quang Nam hands over the Trade Union Shelter to female union members in difficult circumstances

    Quang Nam - Tien Phuoc District Labor Federation has just handed over the Trade Union Shelter to union members in especially difficult circumstances.

    That is the case of Ms. Hoang Thi Anh Nguyet (in village 4, Tien Lap commune, Tien Phuoc district) - a union member of Tien Loc Kindergarten, a single mother raising two young children in an old house that has seriously degraded.

    The house handed over to Ms. Nguyet has an area of 100m2 and a total construction cost of more than 230 million VND. Of which, the Quang Nam Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) supported 40 million VND from the Trade Union Shelter Fund.

    Ms. Nguyet also received support from her family and borrowed more to complete the house.

    At the house handover ceremony, Ms. Nguyet emotionally shared: "The Trade Union Shelter Program is a practical support, helping her and her children have a dream house, stabilize their lives and feel secure in studying and working".
