On January 21, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just organized a Conference to evaluate the results of trade union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in 2025; and set out directions and tasks for 2026.
In 2025, trade union levels in the province allocated more than 73.6 billion VND to take care of Tet for over 143 thousand union members and workers; supported the construction and repair of 120 "Trade Union Homes" with a total budget of more than 5 billion VND.
In addition, grassroots trade unions have spent over 13 billion VND to care for and give gifts to union members, workers, and laborers on the occasion of the country's major holidays; coordinated with businesses to organize "Trade Union Meals" for more than 4,200 workers and laborers, with each meal worth from 50,000 VND to 85,000 VND.
The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations continues to be identified as a key task. In 2025, the whole province admitted 5,033 new union members; established 16 new grassroots trade unions and 3 commune and ward-level trade unions; introduced 573 outstanding union members to the Party Committee for consideration and admission, thereby achieving and exceeding the targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
With the achieved results, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation was ranked by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee as excellently completing the tasks in 2025.
