The four new grassroots colleges were established, including: EVA Quang Ninh Industrial Co., Ltd. (Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park) with 194 trade union members (DVCD); The grassroots grassroots Legal Co., Ltd. (Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park) with 102 units; Junfu Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dong Mai Industrial Park) with 50 units; The Community of Nam Phat Mo Vietnam Metal Service Co., Ltd. (Ha An Ward) with 40 units.
Of these, 3/4 of enterprises are foreign-invested enterprises (FDI). When it is put into stable production, it will create jobs for more than 1,000 workers.
On this occasion, the Town Labor Federation presented 16 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND in cash) to union members in difficult circumstances at 4 newly established grassroots unions.
Quang Ninh province currently has 8 industrial parks in operation, of which Quang Yen town has 4 large industrial parks including: Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park, Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park, Dong Mai Industrial Park and Song Khoai Industrial Park.
As a destination for many investors, industrial parks in Quang Yen town are becoming a growth driver, contributing to the province's growth target (GRDP) in 2025.
From the beginning of 2025, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has been vigorously implemented by the Quang Yen Town Labor Federation, with the theme of the year: "participating in building a clean and strong Party; focusing on developing union members". The Town Labor Federation sets a target of 100% of enterprises with 20 or more employees in the area having trade unions.
According to the plan, in 2025, the Town Labor Federation will establish 6 grassroots unions and develop 5,200 more union members.
With the establishment of 4 more grassroots unions, up to now, the Quang Yen Town Labor Federation is directly managing 154 grassroots unions with nearly 20,000 workers, including nearly 19,000 union members. In industrial parks alone, there are 25 grassroots unions with over 15,000 union members - accounting for the majority of the union force in the whole town.
The expansion of the grassroots union network in 2025 not only contributes to completing targets on developing union members, but also affirms the role of the trade union organization in accompanying the development of enterprises, contributing to making Quang Yen town a bright spot in attracting investment and protecting the rights of workers.
