Accordingly, the rights of cadres and civil servants to ensure the conditions for performing public duties are as follows: To be given authority commensurate with the assigned tasks.
Ensure working equipment, means of transport for performing official duties and other working conditions according to the provisions of law and competent authorities.
To be arranged or rented public housing in accordance with the provisions of law and competent authorities.
Provided with information and data related to assigned tasks and powers.
To participate in training and fostering to improve qualifications.
To be protected by law when performing official duties.
Excluding, exempting, or reducing responsibilities according to the provisions of law and competent authorities.
The law also stipulates the rights of cadres and civil servants to rest and other rights:
Officials and civil servants are entitled to annual leave, holidays, Tet, personal leave, and unpaid leave according to the provisions of the law on labor. In case the staff and civil servants do not use or do not use all the annual days off due to task requirements, in addition to salary, they will also be paid an additional amount equal to salary for the days off.
Cadres and civil servants are guaranteed the right to study, conduct scientific research, and participate in economic and social activities, except for activities specified in Clause 6, Article 14 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2025;
To enjoy preferential policies on housing, social insurance, health insurance and other regimes according to the provisions of law; in case of injury or sacrifice while performing official duties, they will be considered for the same regime and policies as war invalids or will be considered for recognition as martyrs.
