The final match was full of excitement and tension when Sawaco and Sacombank both had strong squads, with many famous players in the "dwellers' football village" of Vietnam. The first half of the match ended with a score of 0-0.
At the end of the second half, Sacombank took the lead after a beautiful attacking arrangement. With nothing left to lose, Sawaco played power-play in order to find an equalizer. However, this tactic of theirs was not successful. In the second half's extra time, Sacombank took advantage of the opponent's mistake to score 2 more goals, sealing a 3-0 victory.

In the end, Sacombank won the Southern qualifying round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament, while Sawaco took the runner-up position. The two teams of Da Nang Trade Union and Khanh Hoa Trade Union received third place.
The Southern qualifying round has a total of 23 participating teams, divided into 6 groups, taking place from October 10 to 13, competing at the stadium on the campus of Ton Duc Thang University and People's Police University.
At the end of the qualifying round, 10 teams in the Southern region won tickets to the national finals including: Da Nang Trade Union, Sacombank, Sawaco, Dong Nai 1 Trade Union, Quang Ngai Trade Union, Khanh Hoa Trade Union, An Giang Trade Union, Le Bao Minh, Dong Nai 3 Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh City 2 Trade Union.
These 10 teams will join 6 Northern region teams including: Hai Phong Trade Union, Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union, Vietnam Bank Trade Union, People's Public Security Trade Union, Hanoi Trade Union, Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union to compete in the final round.
The final round of the national football tournament for workers and civil servants will take place over 3 days (from October 31 to November 2) in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Entering the 3rd year of organization, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual and prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers nationwide, contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.
