Samsung summarizes the 2024 - 2025 technology talent development project

Samsung Vietnam has just held a year-end ceremony for the 2024 - 2025 Technology Talent Development Project (SIC 2024 - 2025).

The Technology Talent Development Project - Samsung Innovation campus for the 2024 - 2025 school year was officially launched in November 2024 to develop high-tech capacity for the young generation of Vietnam, who will lead the success of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in Vietnam in the future.

The project provides 3 technology development courses for 12-22 year old adolescents, including: Internet of Things ( IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and 1 Basic Programming skills course (Coding & Programming - C&P).

Up to now, after nearly 1 year of implementation, the SIC 2024 - 2025 project has been implemented in 69 schools including junior high schools, high schools and universities in 10/34 provinces and cities across the country and recorded positive results with nearly 7,000 students, students and teachers participating, with nearly 40,626 hours of teaching in 249 classes along with 9,534 hours of E-learning completed.

Also within the framework of the project, the project coordination board continues to organize the "Innovation Tech Challenge - 2025" Science and Technology Innovation Contest for students of the SIC project, in the form of the "Robot Cup - Football Robot" contest. This year's contest has the participation of 10 university teams and 15 high school teams from many provinces and cities across the country.

The teams researched and developed solutions to design and program 2 smart robot models, applying advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), image processing, sensors and automatic control. The robots are programmed to be able to move, coordinate tactics, and handle flexible situations to perform direct combat tasks on the football simulation court...

As a result, the LQD-Piogineers - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - Da Nang (Group A) and DTU-TT - Duy Tan University - Da Nang (Group B) became the two winning teams of the competition.

Also at the event, Samsung awarded 98 scholarships to 98 outstanding students of the SIC 2024 - 2025 program.

Appreciating Samsung Vietnam's efforts, Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong emphasized: "Vietnam has affirmed that science and technology, innovation and digital transformation will be the decisive factor and main driving force for rapid and sustainable development, aiming to make Vietnam strong and prosperous. In that context, developing high-quality human resources is a key step to help Vietnam achieve this goal. Samsung Innovation campus is a very clear demonstration of this orientation of Vietnam.

We consider this one of the typical models and hope that in the coming time, Samsung will continue to promote and expand these activities in Vietnam".

Speaking at the event, Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam said: "Along with active support policies from the Government, schools in nurturing IT talent, Samsung Vietnam is also making efforts to contribute to this goal. I hope that with the spirit of not being afraid of challenges, you will fully seize today's opportunities and pioneer in leading the future. Through the Samsung Innovation campus program, Samsung Vietnam will continue to support Vietnamese youth so that they can steadfastly become future owners".
