Industrial production continues to grow
In 2025, Binh Duong province will continue to focus on supporting businesses to access capital, apply science and technology and expand export markets. Departments and branches proactively work with associations and enterprises to promptly remove obstacles related to credit, taxes, customs and legal procedures, ensuring an open and transparent business environment.
At the same time, the province has promoted public investment, focused on developing transport infrastructure and logistics, creating a favorable foundation for businesses to develop and expand production. In the export sector, Binh Duong is expanding its market to the EU, US, Japan and potential regions, improving the competitiveness of export goods.
Policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises and individual business households have also been implemented to create momentum to increase total demand in the economy. Binh Duong province promotes the application of technology and digitalization in production and public services to help improve labor productivity, reduce costs and increase competitiveness for businesses. In addition to economic solutions, the province also focuses on improving the operational efficiency of the administrative apparatus.
According to Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee: "Thanks to the drastic implementation of solutions, in the first 2 months of 2025, Binh Duong's economy continued to record positive growth signals. The industrial production index in February increased by about 20.6% over the same period, accumulated for two months increased by 6.7%".
Import-export activities also grew strongly when export turnover in February is estimated at 3.1 billion USD, up 62.3%; accumulated two-month acquisition reached nearly 6 billion USD, up 19.7%... In the first 2 months of 2025, Binh Duong attracted 515.3 million USD in foreign investment. To date, the whole province has 4,433 foreign direct investment projects with a total capital of 42.5 billion USD.
Enterprises recruit more workers
According to records, most FDI projects invested in Binh Duong are in the manufacturing sector. Binh Duong has built industrial infrastructure so that foreign enterprises can implement the project as soon as possible. The projects quickly built factories, recruited workers and organized production.
One example is the project to build a toiture factory of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam Company in VSIP III Industrial Park, Tan Uyen city. After 2 years of project implementation, the project has now put the production line into trial operation. It is expected that in April 2025, the second largest foreign-invested factory project in Binh Duong will be inaugurated and officially put into production. In industrial parks in Ben Cat city, many businesses continue to receive orders to expand production. Ms. Phan Thi Song Nuong - Human Resources Administration Director of MoToMotion Vietnam Co., Ltd. (My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat City) said that in 2025, the company will receive more orders and expand production. Therefore, this year the company needs to recruit a large number of workers to serve production. Recruitment will take place continuously throughout 2025.
According to the Binh Duong Industrial Park Management Board, in early 2025, the industrial park alone attracted 472 million USD, reaching 39.4% of the 2025 plan. Many businesses are speeding up the progress of factory construction; businesses are also recruiting many workers to serve production. In the first quarter of 2025, the recruitment demand of enterprises is 16,578 workers.
The Binh Duong Provincial Employment Service Center said that in the whole province, in early 2025, businesses need to recruit about 30,000-38,000 workers.
Connecting jobs of soldiers preparing for discharge
Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union has just organized a Career Information, Vocational Training and Job Introduction Festival for young people about to complete military and police service. The festival attracted more than 300 young people about to complete military service and police service in the province.
