On July 9, a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in the first 6 months of the year, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 128 job fairs (110 daily fairs, 3 thematic fairs, 8 online fairs connecting with provinces and cities, 7 mobile fairs in districts, towns and cities) with 4,084 units and enterprises participating and nearly 40,000 workers participating in interviews.
As a result, 15,800 people were recruited after the end of the trading session; 2,100 people were settled to work abroad for a limited period of time under contracts in the Japanese market, Taiwan (China) and South Korea; 72,000 people were created jobs through job consultation and introduction of businesses operating in the field of employment services in the city.
Also in the first 6 months of this year, Hanoi City issued a decision to receive unemployment insurance (UI) benefits for 34,210 people, down from 35,992 in the previous reporting period. 100% of cases applying for unemployment insurance are consulted on finding new jobs, including vocational training support for 502 people with an amount of 1.9 billion VND.
