Youme Law Firm LLC said that currently, the new salary tables mentioned in Section 2 of Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018, specifically including 5 new salary tables applied to the following 9 subjects:
- Cadres, civil servants, and public employees holding leadership positions;
- Civil servants and public employees who do not hold leadership positions;
- Police officer;
- Police professional non-commissioned officers;
- Police technical expertise;
- Military officers;
- Professional soldiers;
- Defense workers;
- Police workers.

In particular, the two subjects of civil servants and public employees holding positions and not holding positions in the new salary policy will be subject to the salary table for positions and the salary table for professional expertise as prescribed in Resolution 27.
The new salary table is one of the contents of salary reform according to Resolution 27. This salary policy has significantly changed the determination of salaries for civil servants, public employees (CBCCVC) and armed forces (LLVT) in the public sector.
And according to Section 1.2, Sub-section 1, Section 2 of Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018, the salary increase for the two subjects of civil servants and public employees holding positions and not holding positions is agreed according to the principle of increasing labor productivity as the basis for salary increase in the new salary policy.
In addition to agreeing on salary increases according to the above regulations, when implementing the new salary policy, the salary increase regime will continue to be applied, according to the principle: perfecting the salary increase regime and regular salary increases and raising salary grades ahead of schedule must comply with the provisions of the new salary table (Based on Section 3.1, Sub-section 3, Section 2, Resolution 27-NQ/TW in 2018).
