On September 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 2, the Trade Union Social Work Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the Party Committee and the Phu Dinh Ward Labor Union visited and presented gifts to support the family of Mr. Nguyen Anh Vinh, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Motorbike taxi and technology car union residing in Phu Dinh ward.
Mr. Vinh is the only worker in a family of 6, with an elderly mother who is unable to work; his wife was a leather shoemaker but had to quit her job in May 2025 due to a serious illness; 2 young children of school age and her younger sister with intellectual disabilities. Currently, Mr. Vinh's wife's health has weakened and needs urgent surgery to stabilize her health, however, the cost is high, beyond the family's ability to pay.
Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - kindly visited the living situation and encouraged Mr. Vinh's family to try to overcome difficult circumstances, and gave Mr. Vinh's family 20 million VND in support from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation along with 2 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts (1 million VND/meal and moon cakes) to Mr. Vinh's children. The Trade Union Social Work Center of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also presented him with a gift worth 5 million VND (cash).
In addition, the Party Committee and the Phu Dinh Ward Trade Union also presented Mr. Vinh with gifts including necessities to help his family overcome difficulties.
