More than 3,000 households in Nong Cong are deeply submerged in floodwater

Thanh Hoa - Floodwaters came very quickly, causing more than 3,000 households in Nong Cong commune to be deeply flooded. Currently, rescue work is being urgently deployed.

According to the representative of the People's Committee of Nong Cong commune, Thanh Hoa province, as of the morning of September 30, the whole commune had 30/44 villages with 3,200 households and 11,330 people deeply submerged in floodwater. Of which, more than 300 households (over 1,200 people) had to be relocated to high-rise buildings to ensure safety.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in the morning and afternoon of September 30, the rescue forces, soldiers and local authorities mobilized human resources, vehicles and many equipment to support the people.

The authorities and local people are making efforts to reach and support flooded households in Nong Cong commune.
